SEQUENTIAL IMAGERY

OUTLINE
This is the plan for my sequential imagery with a camera.
The story is about a guy who finds himself in a strange place with strange people, he's trying to reach out to some of them but he gets neglected/ignored. Then a man walks up to him with his arms wide open in hugging like gesture, he gets confused but is happy so he walks up to him to hug him but finds out the hug wasn't meant for him but the person behind him, this makes him much more sad so he sits on the floor crying, the couple holds hands and walk away confused about why he's crying.

It took me time but I have finally executed the plan I showed in the previous image. And these are the final images. Since I have explained the whole story of the pictures I believe I do not need to go through it again.
I used a Sony cybershot DSC-400 to take the pictures with the help of some good friends  and I used a software called photo grid to make the pictures clearer and put them in a collage form.

                                           SEQUENTIAL IMAGES

So this is the first project I had to work on called sequential imagery. From my understanding sequential imagery, otherwise none as sequential art, is a form of art in which  images are used in a sequential format to pass on information or tell a story

These are images I took with my iPhone 8 with the help of my friend Moyo. I used PhotoGrid to increase the clarity of the pictures and put the images together hence forming a collage of sequential images. In this collage I was trying to use sequential imagery to depict a quote by Rocky Balboa in which he was trying to say, no matter how hard life knocks you down just keep moving forward.

"You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard you hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward; how much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!"
-Rocky Balboa

This was a very interesting project indeed and I hope to do better in other projects to come. Thank you. 🙂

  1. George, great idea for the sequential imagery. You presented a good story and a very meaningful one. A very clear image, so a viewer can understand and get the message you are trying to send.
